Historical Replay — the zero-risk entry step
Before anything touches your network, Velorona can run against telemetry you already have.
What you provide
Archived telemetry from the network or link segment you'd like evaluated — read-only, exported from your own systems. No production connection, no live feed, no ongoing access to your network.
What comes back
A degradation timeline for the period you provided, showing where a decision-grade signal existed and how it compares to when your own conventional alarms fired — measured against your own history, not a generic benchmark.
What it doesn't involve
No install on your infrastructure, no control-plane access at any point, no configuration change on your network. Historical Replay only ever reads data you have already handed over.
Engagement Pathways
How a pilot engagement unfolds
Phase 1 — Operational Discovery
During an evaluation, AID Edge works with the operator's team to identify priority decision points, define evaluation criteria, and align on where earlier decision support can be measured without disrupting existing workflows.
Phase 2 — Read-Only Validation
Velorona can be deployed in read-only shadow mode to surface earlier decision signals, evaluate pre-escalation value, and assess fit under real operating conditions.
Phase 3 — Operational Readiness
The evaluation assesses decision impact, workflow fit, and deployment readiness for broader operational use, while preserving operator control and existing control boundaries.
Evaluation Details
What an evaluation requires
Telemetry
Draws on existing microwave and backhaul telemetry already collected — signal quality (RSSI, transmit/receive power, bit error rate, adaptive coding and modulation state), interface and environmental health (temperature, Ethernet errors and drops), and standard operational signals (alarm status, latency, jitter). No new sensors or packet-level access required.
Deployment
Runs read-only and out-of-band from day one — connected to existing telemetry feeds in shadow mode, with no control-plane access and no changes to existing network configuration.
What you see
Observed signals are translated into named evidence, a single likely cause with its supporting rationale, and a recommended action — with the reasoning behind each traceable end to end.
Initial scope
Defined jointly during Operational Discovery — a bounded set of priority decision points and the telemetry already available for them, sized to what the evaluation is measuring.
Who Velorona is designed for
- Live telecom environments where delayed decisions increase operational cost
- Teams that need earlier decision support before alarms, escalation, or automation acts
- Operations environments where read-only, operator-controlled deployment matters
